We are live! Setting up shop in Anaconda
I’ve never lived in a place long enough to imagine putting down roots. I’ve flitted around the world over the last ten years visiting yoga centers, ashrams, and yoga studios in a never ending quest to dive deeper into Yoga.

Turns out thousands of years of knowledge takes a long time to master. Lifetimes, as in plural, according to yogic philosophy.
I returned home because I wanted to be near my family but my love, passion, and curiosity for yoga continues to grow. And if I can’t run off to an ashram to explore this burning passion, then why not bring the knowledge here and create the yogic community I desire right where I’m at?
That’s how Yoga works, anyway. That’s why we gives thanks at the end of a yoga practice to all of the teachers that came before us. This practice has been passed down for thousands of years and here I am in Anaconda, Montana to bring my own interpretation of the knowledge.

So that’s what I’m cultivating now. I’ve been here about a year now and I’ve made some connections with other people and businesses in Anaconda. Many of them have space to rent out for my yoga classes and many others are constantly planning events that might be fun to collaborate with.
I’m working on securing a space for a studio, but before I get ahead of myself, I want to start teaching yoga classes to you.
Just like my hunger for knowledge led me around the world for an entire decade, my hunger to understand what you need and want to learn is even greater.

Imagine meeting someone who is interested in the very thing you’re obsessed with. You’d want to know exactly what that person already knows so that you can pick up from there and gush all of your loving obsession onto their open and eager ears.
So here I am, setting up shop in Anaconda, Montana. I plan to launch my class schedule for June 2024 and will evolve throughout the rest of the year.
My yoga style is hatha-based. This means that I like to move slowly and focus on alignment and energy flow. This means that an hour-long class might have just a handful of yoga postures. I also don’t like to push the limits in postures. I’m mostly interested in alignment, presence, and energy flow.
If you want to try on my yoga style, then check out this 45-minute intermediate level Hatha Tantra yoga practice:
So whether you’re a beginner or an advanced practitioner, my yoga classes will probably be interesting to you.
If you’re more of an Ashtanga or Vinyasa type of person, which I take to mean that you like intense workouts, then I encourage you to try my classes anyway. Holding postures for long periods of time and maintaining the focus that is required for the true practice can be quite challenging. It may not be the cardio or weight that you’re used to, but consider it a supporting practice to make your true passions a lot easier.
